A goodbye to DeviantART

I have been a paid member of this site since 2003. I've enjoyed being a member of this creative community of artists and sharing my work with other creative people. But, things have changed here. In the last year this site is no longer a place where people can exchange ideas and help each other grow as artists. Instead it has become a dumping ground for hundreds of images of questionable origin by people who seem to be here simply to either display near pornographic photos of themselves for whatever thrills they get or who fill our pages with trash they have stolen from web sites of far less noble intent.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not a prude. All of the images that I've shared here on DV have been artistic nudes and I respect a persons right to create anything they wish using the human body as the wonderful springboard which it is to expression. But, the hundreds of images that have accumulated here on DV in recent months of nothing more than close ups of vaginas and erect penis' taken with no apparent attempt at any creative effort and those who insist on uploading photo after photo of the same subject taken at slightly different angles and with no artist value have done nothing but kept those of us who wished to share legitimate attempts at making art from ever having a chance to see each others work.
I blame the administration for it's lack of taking control of the situation. There are rules here which no one seems to be making any effort to enforce. And this site could desperately use some new rules as well.
I have enjoyed the interaction here at DVart and I'm sorry to see it turning into what it seems to be becoming.
My comments are principally directed to the artistic nude section of DeviantArt, I hope some of the other areas of this site have not fallen into similar states....
